Emani,

My son has a daughter 7 years old who has been diagnosed with autism. He has been in jail since February, 2008 and while he was in jail on February 23rd his wife and mother of his daughter died suddenly of heart disease. His trial date is scheduled for December 14th. Right now, his daughter in the temporary custody of his sister. Have you ever heard of a case like this?

If so what is the possibility of the Court considering his being released on probation, bracelet to a drug rehab and mental health counseling, which is needed…..in the immediate area of where his daughter lives, so he can be involved in her life? He is charged with robbing a bank. He turned himself in the next day. He said he suffered from a black out and doesn’t remember committing the crime.

I hope you can help. Thank you
