From our facebook group: I think I said “wooooow…you’re here……wow….let’s go…”–this was after Jay was in for 25 years and we picked him up at the prison. I recall I was pretty much speechless.
Jay’s early words were about putting a car seat belt on, being happy our son came with me to pick him up. and wanting to stop at a Quik-Mart down the road for a cup of coffee and a pastry. That felt incredibly good to him…and it was so much fun to see him bounce out of the car and walk across the parking lot, as a free man
