Family Life Behind Bars has presented many personal stories about the impact of incarceration on children, parents, grandparents, spouses and partners. While these personal reflections convey the pain, isolation and sense of loss felt by each person, they don’t convey the scope of incarceration in the United States. Only the magnitude of the numbers can express the scope.
But most of us don’t like to read statistics. To get these important numbers across, Family Life Behind Bars is presenting them as a quiz game instead.
